A taut police officer (Samuel L. Jackson), the self-appointed monitoring of their neighborhood, strongly disapproves of interracial newlyweds (Patrick Wilson, Kerry Washington), who just moved in next door. He became increasingly hostile towards the pair of innocents, they go to great lengths to force to leave their home. Events take a tragic turn when the couple decided to return to the fight.
